Question: My 1yo son is allergic to egg.due to tht his MRR jab need to be postpone.
Plus,he is schedule to take the jab at hospital under doctor’s observation.
My concerns:
1) is the jab can harm my son?
2) can i delay the MMR jab?

Answer: no, the jab will not harm your son at all. In fact would be helpful to prevent measles, mumps and rubella. Pls do not delay. It has been proven that mmr vaccine is safe even with those with severe egg allergy.

How about chicken allergy? My daughter suspected to have an allergic with chicken. Does same rules applied? I’m quite worried because the 1st time i gave her porridge chicken (9 month old) , there were red rashes occur all over her body, some also have liquid bubbles on it. Its resolve within 2week. Alhamdulillah lucky us she didn’t have any fever . Now she’s already 11.5 month. Since that day i never give her any chicken meat. I’m really in dilemma whether to proceed her with MMR or delay the vaccination.
