Jz come across this site after paper published. Would like to enquirefor my 4 years old son alergy on nose. Since born he already into nose alergy as claim by the specialist. Red eye bag is visibly seen.
what is the remedy or improvement can be done ? By medicine or by natural nutrition? TCM or? His condition is not serious as those sinus type. Recent coughing has been long > 2 months. On off cure and repeated.

Answer: Dear Pn Choo, If the specialist has confirmed that he has allergic nose( allergic rhinitis), then there should be treatment in the form of medication and environmental changes. We are not familiar with TCM and therefore unable to comment. Prolonged coughing can be due to postnasal drip and effects of an allergic nose. There should be consideration to use steroid nose spray for control of symptoms, antihistiamine oral medication for decongestion. Always keep the environment clean, with humidified air for comfort.
