Question: My 25 month old daughter has G6PD, and she has mild eczema too. Last Wednesday she has had high fever 39.5 followed by hives all over. The next day, she developed wheezing and coughing. She has been having on and off fever plus hives for the past few days. Today, she is having them again. She has been scratching herself and waking up Couple of times. FYI, she has not been having much appetite to eat for the past few days. She has had hives before and it went off couple of days after, but this time around the fever seems to be higher than usual. Should I be worried?
Answer: Pls bring her to see a doctor. Hives and wheezing r worrying symptoms. She needs to be assessed.
