i would like to ask about tougue-tie (Ankyloglossia). my son skrg dah 4mo, masa lahir the paed ckp dia punya lidah pendek. i understand that this can effect his speech/pelat bila dia besar. so my son has to go for a ‘minor surgery’ to fix this. i just wanna know, is it better go for the ‘minor surgery’ now or tunggu dia besar dulu?
Answer: the types of tongue tie differ in severity and each child is different.
I suggest that your child should have an assessment by your local paediatrician who will then refer you to otorhinolaryngologist who will decide the best course of action for your child.
