Question: Dear doctors, my 4 yo had a runny nose for the past 3 days but seemed to get better.
We gave her Fedac syrup as prescribed by a panel clinic and she also on Nasonex daily since she had the flu.
For information, she’s diagnosed with sinus thus Nasonex was prescribed to her since she was 3. Due to positive progress, the dosage reduced from daily to once every two days, last month.
The thing is, she had this clumpy blood inside her nose. We thought it was due to her latest habit of picking up her nose but the bleeding didn’t seem to subside even after few hours. It didn’t flow but it’s always there.
We are still monitoring her progress but if there’s any information that I should know or things that I should do about this? May be because of the wheather?

Answer: Hi Suhana, some children with allergic rhinitis or sinusitis have nose bleed, esp when it is severe. . If it doesnt settle, pls see the ENT doctor. Mild bleeding that stops on its own is not worrying but if continues, your child needs a check up.
