Question: Hi, doctor. My son is currently 21 days old and having greenish stool for past 5 days from normal yellowish stool. He is fully breast feeding now, not on formula milk. What could be the problem? (Liew Kim Long)
Answer: Greenish stool is not exactly a problem. dangerous color are only pale color, red-blood color, tarry black color. The change in color could be due to changes in transit time, interaction with gut bacteria and the substance of the milk given.
