Question: My boy is 9 months old, i found that he has lesser urine passing recently. His diaper is dry from 7pm until 12am..he drank 1-2 times milk around 4oz. But still dry diaper. But he still can pee normally while sleeping at nite. The urine color is pale yellow and he is active as usual. Appreciate your advise. Thanks. (Jessie)
Answer: Hi Jessie, is this a daily occurrence? As your child has started eating , he is likely to drink less than he did when he was less than 6 months old. It is expected that he passes urine if he drank 4 oz of milk . If he is well, active , passes a lot of urine at other times, no distended abdomen _ I would think that it is not worrying , HOWEVER , I would need to know how many times he drinks and passes urine in 24 hours. As much as I would like to reassure you , this is difficult without knowing the full details of his urine output frequency.
