Question: Salam Drs,
my niece is currently having chicken pox. my problem is that my niece and my baby stays under one roof during the day (grandma’s house) however, my niece is currently being quarantined upstairs and my 11 months old baby is practically downstairs the entire day.
my question is, what are the possibilities that my 11 month old baby can get infected with chicken pox. they dont meet and have no direct contact. i read that chicken pox can spread by air as well. also, my mom is taking care of my niece and occasionally holds my baby (but she washes her hand before holding my baby).
appreciate your expert advice on this.
